All carbon emissions generated throughout the production and transportation of Report Carbon Neutral® to Europe are offset with the restoration of the Atlantic Coastal Rain Forest.


Many activities that we perform in our day to day lives result in the release of pollutant gases. The concentration of these gases in the atmosphere result in the greenhouse effect, that is, the increase of the earth's average temperature, causing global warming.

Aware of this issue, Suzano developed Report Carbon Neutral®, a paper that has its carbon released during production and transportation to Europe offset through recovery of native forests in the Atlantic Coastal Rain Forest riparian region.

We therefore calculated how much CO₂ through photosynthesis. Thus, in addition to offsetting the environmental impact from its production and transportation to Europe, Report Carbon Neutral® also provides the benefit of preserving biodiversity (flora and fauna) and water resources.
