Winner of the 'Best New Paper Product Award' from SOPX '09

Report Carbon Neutral wins 'Best New Paper Products' Award at SOPX 2009.

Report Carbon Neutral is the very first carbon neutral office paper to be launched in the UK – and has immediately won the Best New Paper Product Award at the recent Stationery & Office Products Show held in London.

Report Carbon Neutral is available through The Aims Group, a nationwide group of independent paper distributors.   

All carbon emissions from the production and shipping of Report Carbon Neutral are entirely offset. This is independently audited by The Green Initiative who on behalf of Suzano replant 6.1 trees in a degraded area of the Atlantic Coastal Rain Forest for every tonne produced and delivered to Europe.

Mike Wheat, Chairman of The Aims Group said:  ‘This award is recognition of the pioneering new development from the paper manufacturer, Suzano.  It also reflects that this excellent product is the only carbon neutral office paper currently available in the UK, and it has certainly already attracted great interest from our customers.’

John Waits, Managing Director of Osborne Stationers, has already added Report Carbon Neutral to his portfolio of paper products, and said:   ‘Report Carbon Neutral is a unique product with eye catching packing and excellent environmental accreditations which give a different angle to the recycled argument.  The recent SOPX Best Paper Product Award will certainly greatly enhance this product’s profile.’

The inaugural SOPX new products award was organised in association with Office Products International Magazine (OPI) and was open to all exhibitors at the show. Over 80 products in 7 categories were entered.
